Nancy Allan is a gifted artist currently working in Charlotte and Columbia.  She specializes in creating "art that captures the moment,"  using oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media.

Painting came naturally to Nancy from a young age; her private art  lessons through high school honored her gift and broadened her exposure. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts at the University of South Carolina, studying a variety of techniques in drawing, painting, photography, and commercial art.

Nancy's talent has been recognized by the University of South Carolina's Portfolio Magazine, winning first place in their art  competition, as well as by winning the Gold Key and Certificate of Merit in the South Carolina Scholastic Art Show.  She has exhibited with the Art League of Hilton Head and is a member of Charleston Art Guild, both in South Carolina.
